How do you know if your wheel is bent?
Bent wheels often happen when the vehicle encounters a pothole, road hazard, uneven roads or after an accident. A wheel can also be bent from hitting a curb. Bent wheels are more common on low profile tires because there is less material (tire) around the wheel. In most cases, tires will take the impact because tires are made of rubber and full of air. If the impact is severe enough, it could distort the tire, causing the wheel to take the force and could result in structural damage. Once a wheel is bent, it is no longer perfectly round. Wheels are an essential part of a vehicle because they are located between the axles and the tires. Bent wheels can cause many problems and they can be dangerous.
